CHRISTmas Day Service -
White Hart Street Methodist Church,
(Aylsham, Norfolk)

Juggling for a Christmas day service in our church (White hart street Methodist), was an inspiraion for the families watching. Steve was able to use his skills to tell the Christmas story and the reason Jesus came into our world through to His death , Ressurection and when He was taken up into heaven...The children and adults were awed by this novel introduction to the traditional Christmas worship. It was a way of Steve giving his gift of juggling to God, which seemed very appropriate for Christmas. Thankyou Steve.

CHRISTmas Day - Local Aylsham hospital

An afternoon interlude in the local hospital... Steve encouraged the staff and patients at our Community hospital by a short display of his very varied juggling skills....having to kneel due to the low ceilings. It brought cheer on Christmas day at a time which can be anxious. Thanks Steve for sparing time to share with us .

Wedding Party

My brother Steve juggled for our very special day, our Wedding in September 2003 back in our native Stirling...Lots of people who attended have enquired after him and his skills since, as well as trying to look up his kilt!! Just a pity we didn't have a licence for fire juggling (or had we been outdoors) as that really would have been the icing on the cake. Very impressive though, skillful and well-thought out routines......If you're thinking of booking him, do it fast - his name is getting well-known!

Wedding Party

We thought it would be a nice idea to have Steve perform at the party following my sister's wedding, as it was an unusual idea and also a good way to entertain the numerous children that would be present. Not only was Steve's performance highly entertaining and amusing, but he displayed a real talent in keeping the children's attention and getting everyone involved. His natural friendly personality and easy-going and polite nature meant that his performance was perfect for a wedding party, and he really helped to break the ice amongst the guests. Following the party, many guests commented on how nice it had been to have him perform, and expressed an interst in hiring Steve for future functions and parties. Initially we had been unsure as to how a juggling performance could fit into a wedding party, but Steve not only met expectations but exceeded them, and I would have no hesitation in reccommending him to anyone considering hiring such an act!

Stirling Baptist Church - Holiday Club

Steve performed for us at our recent church holiday club; despite being allocated only a short slot in a packed parents' night, he made the most of the time, giving a dynamic performance that was enjoyed greatly by everyone present. Steve is a very skilful juggler who quickly builds a rapport with his audience, whatever the situation; I thouroughly recommend him !

Ruaridh o Donnells 11th Birthday Party
(Mairi Osbourne)

Steve came to juggle at Ruaridh's 11th birthday party. He brought lots of juggling equipment .....which we all enjoyed trying out - adults included! Steve provided patient and expert tuition - most of us learned something by the end of the party, whether it was spinning plates, juggling balls or scarves, devil sticks or diablo. And throughout the party Steve gave some virtuoso juggling performances.

The website pictures and write-up were ready almost immediately - good fun to show far-away cousins. Have had good reports from all those at the party - I'd recommend Steve as a juggler, both for performance and teaching. And, his on-line shop is very good value!

Bridge of Allan Brewery

Steve was thoroughly entertaining and added a novelty moment to our forums Christmas party and to the surprise of one of our members who got roped in to spin all the plates. Steve was very good especially in such a confined space and would recommend him to anyone wanting a juggler.

Junior Bike Ride, Camperdown Park - Dundee

Steve has just performed at a children's bike ride in Camperdown Park in Dundee and I feel duty bound to tell any visitors to the site how it went. Well if you are looking for a juggler, then look no further. Steve kept the children occupied not only with his own performance but he allowed them to have a go at spinnig plates etc and believe me, they ALL looked like they were loving every minute of it. Thanks Steve for all your help :-)

Penicuik Inter-Church Event

Thank you so much for performing at our Inter-church children's praise service in Penicuik on Saturday 31st August.

Over 70 children with parents attended and the feedback has been great. The kids especially enjoyed being involved with the juggling routine and the plate spinning.

Your talent of giving your testimony whilst demonstrating circus skills is truly amazing. I will keep in touch and look forward to working again with you on the near future.

God Bless

Irvine Mission

"'I've worked with Steven for many years on many mission locations and this year he joined a team that I was co-leading in Irvine. Steven always comes well equipped with lots of juggling equipment - some I don't even know what they are for!!!!

We held many children's activities during the week and during one of the holiday clubs, Steven brought out his juggling equipment. The children were fascinated, they were transfixed by what Steven was doing. They followed him round the room with eager eyes and whenever Steven asked for a volunteer, the children were enthusiastic about joining in.

We held a 'Day of Champions' which was a family day. Again, Steven came well equipped and had many of the people spinning plates and trying to juggle. Steven had so much patience with them.

On our last night we held a Ceildh, Steven gave a superb juggling routine. The children and adults were mesmerised with what he was doing and again were eager to have a go.

Steven's display of juggling, patience and willingness to learn others shone through the full week and it was great to have worked alongside him."

Crossover Christian Festival (Phil Wray)

"Steve did a great job at CROSSOVER 2002 for the iMPACT tent. From the moment we jacked up our PA and Steve got his fire-clubs out we were onto a winner. Initially we were expecting 30 to 40 teenagers to join in the Circus Skills Workshop; but as it turned out we had over 70 people in the first hour. Steve (and his assistant) were kept extremely busy coaching groups learning Devil sticks, plate spinning, 4 levels of juggling groups; and about a dozen kids flinging Diablos about outside the marquee. Altogether a fantastic success."

Firestarters Visit to Childrens Ward

We were delighted when Steve willing agreed to join our Firestarters team during a visit to the children's ward in Stirling Royal Infirmary. Our Firestarters team, which is a team of young people dedicated to serving God, had decided to go to the children's ward so we could entertain, talk to and pray for the children which were there. Steve was a valuable asset to our
team because he came ready and prepared with all his juggling equipment not only for himself but enough for the children to play also! Although we had face-paints, play-doh and crafts the juggling was without a doubt the biggest success. The children that were there needed very little persuasion to get involved and Steve was ever ready to instruct help and encourage.

The visit proved to be a real blessing and one of the mothers said that her child would have spent the day doing nothing but instead he got to play with juggling balls, hoops and plates! Firestarters would like to thank Steve for joining us and would recommend his services to anyone who is interested.

Thanks

Letham St.Marks Church

Hi Steven

We really enjoyed your juggling performance that you did for our church. Your juggling skills are excellent and everyone was extremely impressed. Your performance was very well put across combining your juggling with your testimony. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterwards in the workshop the kids had a great time (as did the adults!) and we would recommend you to any other groups looking for someone to entertain people of all ages.

Thanks again from all at Letham St. Marks Church.

Kildean School

Steven Thomson attended Kildean School on the 19th December 2001. He performed for a group of children and young people with severe and profound special education needs.

Mr Thomson arrived at school at the agreed time; he entertained and interested the pupil's well, taking account of their special educational needs. He was very pleasant and courteous with all pupils and staff. I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Thomson to perform at a similar venue.

Townbreak

Town Break is a drop-in centre for people with dementia. As a treat for our Christmas party I arranged for Steven to come in and perform. This was a first for us. I need not have worried. Steven developed a good rapport with the clients, carers and volunteers alike. Not only did he astound them with his skills but he also involved them by encouraging a client to join in the plate spinning. This will not be his last visit to our group!

Aberlour Childcare Trust

This was a Fundraising event in Edinburgh, which I took part in with a group of jugglers. There was also a street parade which we stewarded at, at the end of the night.

Dear Steven,

Thank you so much for coming along to the Bruntsfield Christmas event. The Trader's association very much appreciated your contribution to the evening's festivities...

We raised around £530 on the night from the collecting buckets and the sale of balloons...and there will be a lot more to come from the Trader's raffle, Santa's Grotto, etc.

It was very good of you all to give up your time and your talent to take part in this event.

Yours Sincerely

Tillicoultry Baptist Church

We had the privilege of having Steven's input into our morning service (of a growing Scottish Baptist Church) during a week of mission in October 2001. Steven did the slot usually occupied by a children's talk. He explained how he became a Christian and how God has used his juggling to reach other people. He did the talk and juggling extremely well. He was well able to combine testimony during actual juggling demonstrations very effectively. As for the juggling itself things were done very professionally. You could see the faces of our young people light up during his talk as well as many of the not so young people. After doing the children's talk he went to Sunday school to teach the young people how to juggle - a morning well spent and well enjoyed by all who came along. We would have no hesitation in recommending Steven for church work to both old and young people.
