performance/testimony and workshop - 6th January 2002

I was approached by Carol Mackay who had stumbled across this website, and then realised that we had worked together on a mission in the previous year! I was asked to perform my testimony/juggling routine at a Church lunch which was in aid of a new building appeal for the Church in Perth. After the performance, I was then to lead an hour long juggling workshop for whoever wanted to take part in it.

The testimony went according to plan, and as soon as I started, all the kids suddenly rushed forward so that they could get a good view. I was standing in the centre of the hall, so I had to continually face a different portion of the audience and make sure my voice was well projected. The feedback which I received from members of the congregation and some ministers afterwards was all very positive.

At the workshop, it was mainly primary school children who turned up. They were very happy at being given a punch balloon (huge balloon with a bit of elastic), and being allowed to play with all my "juggling toys" and blowing bubbles! I should be going back to this church to take a juggling workshop for the youth at some point in the near future
