Community council website:
The DVRAP and the The Douglas Valley Church
have been working in partnership to produce
a Christmas Festival for the village. The
festival is made up of concerts, events,
classes, activities and church services
all celebrating Christmas and, there really
is something for everyone.
The Festival starts on Friday 25th November
with a Children's Roadshow outside The St
Bride's Centre, Douglas, there will be music
by Universal Connections, refreshments and
even a chance to see Gromit and Bugs Bunny.
The lights that will be put up at St Bride's
will be switched on at 7pm by Depute Provost
Mary McNeil.
This roadshow marks the start of a month
of events, activities, concerts and classes
which we hope will provide something for
everyone in the whole village.
