Press Cuttings

Here is a small selection of my favourite presscuttings since I became a professional juggler way back in July 2001! Click to enlarge the images (a new browser window will open with the new enlarged image).

Rushden Evening Telegraph (13 July 2011)

Learn Circus Skills at our Libraries

YOUNGSTERS will have the chance to learn how to spin plates, juggle and learn the diabolo in their local libraries this summer. Professional Juggler Steve Thomson will be touring the County’s Libraries to teach free workshops on circus skills as part of a national reading initiative which has a Circus Theme this year.

Steve’s workshop is designed to create a buzz around Children’s reading as he sets the challenge to read six or more library books over the summer. Steve will be at Rushden Library from 2-4pm on 28 July, Corby’s Cube between 2-4pm on 28 July, and Wellingborough Library from 2pm on 1 September…

(from Berwick Advertiser – March 2011)
I was misquoted for the sensational headline of
“Juggling Knives blindfolded on a roller ball is perfectly safe”!
I had said that I found it easy because I had practiced it lots. Don’t try this at home!

(from Northumberland Gazette – March 2011)
This article named me as “Event of the Week” throughout Northumberland!

Both articles tell of my 3 day visit to various Churches in Schools in Northumberland to do some Gospel Juggling and Circus Skills Workshops for my good friends John and Hilda Holwell. Click on either presscutting above to see it in a much larger and far more readable size!
